Just For The Phantom Webmaster…
…who is a big Status Quo fan and would have liked to have been at this event in Eltham a couple of weeks ago where they received a PRS Heritage Plaque (perilously low down if you ask me…)
and which Warren, who took these, remembered when I started getting the Phantom long johns in a twist over the ‘pinching’ of its sister in Greenwich yesterday (all ended well over that one, btw – it’s a listed building and it was just removed for a while during the application process, put up for a few hours during the great unveiling.)
I didn’t cover this at the time, but TPW being such a fan ‘n all, I couldn’t resist when Warren sent me these. The PRS were so impressed with his pics of the Squeeze unveling they commissioned him to go and snap Elton John – who actually couldn’t make it to Northwood Hills – and this one.
‘The Status Quo, first performed in 1967 at the Welcome Inn. The site now forms part of a Weston Homes residential development.’ Corner of Well Hall Rd & junction with Westmount Rd.
There we go TPW – just for you…
