Squeeze At Greenwich Borough Hall
After depressing the hell out of me last night, Darryl at 853 threw me a bone I thought I’d share with you. Squeeze – or at least some of them – at Greenwich Borough Hall yesterday, for the unveiling of a plaque recognising their value in the music business. I’d forgotten how good this song is…
Now, breathe…

hehe, great one. I always show myself up by singing along when that one pops up on the ipod!
Great stuff
HI, I just posted an entry on pagodas and linked it back to your posting about the Georgian Pagoda. I think you are an awesome writer. Please, go ck it out and feel free to comment.

I am now on Youtube. Really chuffed!
Did anyone catch Mr T at East Greenwich Pleasaunce last summer? That was fab too…
Squeeze were/are great. Fond memories of seeing them performing Labelled with Love at the Deptford Albany in the mid 80's.
I keep coming here to listen to this, it was familiar but not exactly known so this live version was like a first hearing and i can't get used to the non-live one on Itunes. I think half the streets heard me singing in the shower about getting a job with Stanley now, it gets in your head!
Shame there isn’t a campaign to ensure that the Borough Halls will still be there in ten years time. The place is in terrible financial trouble, and a building like that takes a lot of maintenance.
It’s a great building, with a great heritage, but not enough support.
