Advent Windows (13)
Yesterday turned into – well – one of those days, and I realised too late I’d forgotten to tell you where to find the day’s Advent Window. Happily, it’s on for ages yet and, thanks to Gill, who will be sending me pics of all the windows, you can get a sight of it before you go.
So it’s at 46 Devonshire Drive, SE10 8JZ and it’s best seen after dark. It “attempts to show how greed and lack of awareness can destroy our planet and it’s inhabitants.
The children show ‘darker’ images from their top window. ‘Seeing the light’ and caring about the planet, not eating animals and reducing our carbon footprint will help brighten the lives of people and animals together. The middle bay window will depict brightness and light – casting away those dreams of darkness that presently surround our planet.”
