Look! It's the Goodyear Blimp!

Most excellent sight, Dude.
Of course it wasn't the Goodyear blimp and of course I missed it. But thanks to Dazza and Nat I can enjoy them vicariously. Nat saw said dirigible over Charlton House and very UFO-like it looks too. Quite sinister in fact.

But it took Dazza to spot it up close and reveal exactly what it's advertising:

Look underneath and you'll see the little cabin. Nat tells me it gives rides to people at £185+ a pop. Hurry, hurry - get your tickets here...

I got home yesterday evening, and was vaguely aware of something above me - and there it was - right over my head!
They had an item on the TV about it later.

There I was enjoying the sun in my garden and that massive thing blocked it - looked so close it felt like the people were staring at me. More intrusion, noise, pollution.. Just so 12 (?!)lucky people can stare at me sunbathing?

I think it must have been something to do with the Graduation Ceremonies yesterday. Can't think who would make the connection between Students and advertising an Alcoholic drink...LOL

Looks like a lucky chap from the Guardian was in the flight yesterday - http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/gallery/2008/jul/15/london.travelnews?picture=335703197 - there's a nice picture of the shadow over the Queen's House. It looks fun but a shame it has to be so very beery-advertisey.
