The Phantom admits - once again I am embarrassed at my lack of knowledge on this subject - mine's the house with filthy windows. Any ideas?

I'm in East Greenwich by the Old Fire Station and we have a couple of guys who come around once a month to do ours and they are very good/cheap. I don't know how far they travel or where you are but if you would like, I'll try to get a number for you, which I'll pass to the Phantom.
Saying that they usually turn up in the first week of the month but we haven't seen them yet.....so reliability might be an issue...LOL
I'm in East Greenwich/Westcombe Park area too, think I *may* have the same window cleaners as Dazza, but I always thought it was the last week of the month, so they may be a different pair! Anyway, my guys last visited on Tuesday 25th March. They clean on a Tuesday, collect money on a Thursday evening if you're not at home. I pay £8 for the front windows (4 bays and one flat) but I know that I have 'old' rates because I've been using them so long (and maybe also because I make them tea each time ;-) )They're cheerful, reliable, and work quietly. And they're grateful for tea!

Bad timing, but a guy knocked on my door around 6pm last night asking if we needed a window cleaner - maybe somebody in your street took one of his flyers? Obviously I didn't, sorry.
Window Cleaning by Hawkens - 07894 914 722. Come round once a month for a tenner and do two floors/ five windows.
Cave, hic dragones. Just to warn you - I got stung by a conman a couple of years ago. He follows the legit window cleaners around and knocks on houses with dirty windows (ours at the time), claims he's the bossman and politely asks if you want to sign up.
He said he'd send his lads around as soon as they were done with their current job - and I was dumb enough to stump up £20 for four cleans! Doh!
So - make sure you actually SEE them cleaning next door before you 'sign up'! ;-)
