Rococo
Any idea what's happened to my favourite Flower Shop Rococo in Greenwich, disappeared without trace over Christmas...not a pound store I hope..
The Phantom replies:
I must be a particularly unobservant Phantom as I hadn't even noticed it was gone - it seemed perfectly healthy last time I passed. It will indeed be a loss - another classy shop gone. Anyone have any information about this?

Noooo!!!! I loved this shop!!! That is so so so sad...
Sorry I can't agree with lula. I bought flowers from Rococo a couple of times and each time they only lasted for a few days. They were very expensive and when I told the lady who owned the shop she was nothing less than RUDE.
Marti
What, the girl with the reddish-brown, curly hair? She was lovely! (must have been an off-day).
Expensive, well a cup of coffee in the cafe on Trafalgar Road is 1/3 the price of Starbucks and I guess if rents are so high she needs to make a living (or not it seems). I thought her flowers were beautiful - and maybe they had just had enough of life and decided to call it a day.
I'm with Marti on this one. I bought flowers from rococo and they too were dead within a few days. I don't mind paying more for lovely flowers that last but I do mind paying extra for flowers of a poor quality. The stall on the corner of stockwell street Market always has a really lovely selection and are a good price.
As I type this - it is a few short hours before the start of another Valentine's Day Massacre.....
...I have just called Rococo - as I have done for at least the last decade - only to hear of its demise.
What a shame!
I remember oredering 144 (A dozen- dozen!!!)Long-stem Roses from this store one Feb 14th.
I must report that the store lasted longer than my relationship with the recipient!!!!
However all (recipient, store, and sexy staff) will be greatly missed.
I would send flowers to comiserate if only I knew where to get some!!! :O)
How long you want flowers to last?
What are you expecting from cut flowers?
The shop had a style, what is going to be there now cafe, sandwich shop, or other chain restuarant with lots of money to kill the local busines run by real people.
Congratulation, Greenwich is goning to be soon money crazy litle town.
RE: How long you want flowers to last?
At their prices more than 2 days!
I'd be happy if a new flower shop were to move in. As long as the flowers were good quality that is!
