Joshua Beasley

Folks - I have sad news. Josh's body has been found in the river Thames. He appears to have drowned, and there are no obvious signs of foul play.

This is one of the saddest things I have heard in a long time. At just 17, he had his whole life ahead of him. My heart goes out to Ruth and Paul today - and to all Josh's friends who have been searching so hard for him.

I'm so sorry to hear that. It was such a similar story to one that happened to a colleague's brother some years ago. I was hoping it would not have the same ending.

So very, very sad. Our thoughts can only be with the his family. Clearly, while Josh was alive he was richly loved and cherished. So young I know but may he now rest in peace.

Sorry I can't find any better words, but there are none.

Only just found out today while in the park, notices put up by police informed that Josh had been found. Was shocked and numbed by the news. may I offer my deepest sympathies at the families loss of their son, and at such a time of year. So very sad.

My heart goes out to Ruth and Paul and the family. All I can say to them is, allow yourselves time to grieve, be kind to each other and try and remember all the good times you shared with Joshua. And, please, please well-meaning friends DON'T say 'I know how you feel' - that was said to me when my son died and on-one can know unless they have been there themselves. Ruth and Paul will always love you Josh - x x
