Nativity Procession?

Ruth asks:

I heard a rumour that there is some kind of nativity procession in Blackheath tomorrow. Can you shed any light on this? I've tried searching for details on the web but can't find anything.

The Phantom replies:

Me either. Sounds nice - but I don't think it's had much in the way of publicity. Anyone know anything about it?

Blackheath has an annual procession on Christmas Eve. Could that be it? Starts at 4:30 at St. Michael's and then goes through the village. Complete with live donkey.

The procession actually starts at St Mary's in Cresswell Park, and goes to All Saints on the Heath (stopping all the traffic)for carols en plein air - but there is a Christingle service beforehand at St Michael's (www.se3.org.uk)
