Frisbee

How did it go, folks?

Do I need to get my frilly phantasmagorical cheerleader costume out yet? Altogether now...

Ra, Ra, On your marks
Have some larks
With the Cutty Sharks!

Ra, Ra,
When you're in the Parks
Watch your backs
It's the Cutty Sharks!

Ra, Ra
If your dog barks
He wants to join
With the Cutty Sharks!

Ra, Ra-
(that's enough "sharks" rhyming - Ed.)

It was great - we had enough people for an exhausting game (including two newcomers), got a little bit sunburnt, made it in to the Plume for lunch and some beers and then went on to the Vanbrugh to watch the Rugby (and enjoy a couple more ales...)

All in it was all a good start to the winter season (except perhaps for the player who ended up spending the entire afternoon in QEH A&E).

Ooops. Didn't realise there was rough stuff involved. Or was that just after the beer?

The injury occured during the game, but he kept quiet about it until he'd had a couple in the Plume. Apparently he watched the entire game of Rugby in A&E, which made the 4.5 hours go reasonably quickly.

There are photos of the game on our facebook group page. Just search for "Cutty Sharks"
