The Rose and Crown has re opened with Richard still in charge. In essence, the free holders have taken back the lease and are now running it in the same manner as they did before. One good thing is that they have put in much better furniture and returned the bar stools, the loss of which were much lamented. Oh, the pub is now completely non smoking which is a bonus!
Sounds like an improvement. Thank heavens some things are going the right way.
The Rose & Crown, Greenwich:
A great little 'straight friendly' venue, a hidden gem in stunning tranquil Greenwich, surrounded by the crazy streets of fast paced London life.
Under new management (Nathan) this venue is now better than ever, great decor, friendly atmosphere and great drink prices.
I'd thoroughly recommend you check it out; whether you've not been before, or not been for a while... take a step in and check it out.
I had never been that impressed by the Rose and Crown but since Richard left and Nathan took over as manager.
I've found that the pub has improved 100 fold ... this is most definately a pub that's worth checking out.
